Buhari meets with four South-South governors


Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is having a closed-door meeting with four governors from the South-south region of the country.

The governors, all from the opposition People’s Democratic Party, include Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.

The meeting is being held inside the president’s office at the State House, Abuja, and is reported to have commenced at 3 pm after Buhari returned from his condolence visit to Kaduna.
