Air Peace Booking: All you need know

Air Peace is considered to be one of the leading airlines in Nigeria. It was founded in 2013 and currently offers passenger and charter services to major Nigerian cities, as well as Internationally to countries such as Dubai, Accra, Freetown, Banjul, Dakar, etc.

The right tool to book Air Peace flights

You can book Air Peace tickets on their official website or through trusted local travel agents. The right tool for you depends on your needs and preference.

Air Peace booking portal

To book tickets on Air Peace portal, visit www.flyairpeace.com and fill in details such as your preferred trip segment, departure city and date, destination city, number of passengers, etc. Click on ‘Search and Book’ to find available flights as well as time and fare. Choose your preferred flight and continue to the next steps to fill in the required fields and your preferred payment option to buy a ticket. Infants pay 10% of the adult ticket fare in all classes. Other functions such as Check-In, Agent log in, and accessing your booking are all available on this portal.

Air Peace payment services and options

You can pay for Air Peace tickets using your debit cards. If this option is not favorable to you, you can select the ‘Pay with Miles’ option if you have earned enough points to cover your air fare.

You can also select the ‘Book on hold’ option which allows you to make payments for your tickets at any Nigerian bank, on Quickteller, or through Paydirect. To make payments on Quickteller, type Air Peace in the search bar and fill in your email address and booking reference to complete payment.

Air Peace check-in

The two check-in options available on Air Peace are:

  • Online Check-In: Visit www.flyairpeace.com and click on the Check-in tab. Fill in your surname and booking reference to begin your online check-in process. Online check-in begins 48 hours to the flight and closes 2 hours to scheduled departure time.
  • Airport Check-In: You can check-in at Air Peace check-in counters at the airport.

Check-in for Domestic Flights begins 2 hours before the flight, 3 hours for Regional Flights, and 4 hours for International Flights. It ends at 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 75 minutes to scheduled departure time for Domestic flights, Regional Flights, International Flights respectively.

Boarding on Domestic flights closes 15 minutes before flight departure while boarding on Regional and International Flights closes 20 minutes before Flight departure.

Air Peace baggage allowance and policies

  • Domestic Flights: Passengers are allowed 20kg in economy class and 40kg in business. Baggage in excess of the specified weight attracts a fee of N500 per kg. Hand luggage weighing 6kg is allowed in economy class and 10kg in business class with size not exceeding 45x33x20 cm.
  • Regional Flights: Passengers are allowed 30kg in economy class and 40kg in business. Any baggage in excess of the specified weight will be charged $3 per kg. Hand luggage specifications allowed in domestic flights apply here too.
  • International Flights: Baggage of 23kg is allowed in economy class and 32kg in business/first class. Baggage that exceeds this weight will be charged a fee of $100 per bag. Hand luggage allowed is 7kg+ a small handbag for economy class and 14kg + a small handbag for first and business class.

Infants are allowed a maximum of 10kg of luggage in either economy class or business class. Valuables such as jewelry, documents, precious metals, medication, and identification documents should be kept in your hand luggage.

Air Peace destinations

Air Peace flies to destinations in Nigeria as well as Internationally. Destinations they fly to are:

Within Nigeria: Abuja, Akure, Asaba, Benin, Enugu, Calabar, Kaduna, Kano, Uyo, Lagos, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Yola.

International Routes: Accra, India, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Baku, Banjul, Beirut, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Dakar, Dubai, Pakistan, Freetown, Saudi Arabia,  Kathmandu, Monrovia, Moscow, and Yerevan.

Air Peace flights Vs other domestic airlines

Air peace has been commended in areas such as excellent In-flight services, comfortable space and legroom, and professional crew. Most reviewers however, complained of experiencing bad customer service relationship.
