Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) also nicknamed UNIZIK was established in 1991 and is located in Awka, Anambra State. Over the years, many intellectuals have graduated from this great institution whose mission is to make use of teaching, research, and public service with the aim of solving social problems in society.
The university currently has 13 faculties and offers courses both in the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The school is grounded on its motto which is Discipline, Self-reliance and Excellence, which has been the basis upon which things have been done. The current VC of the school is Prof Joseph Ahaneku.
UNIZIK is one tertiary institution you would want to be affiliated with because of the many positive attributes the school has. Because UNIZIK was named after a great statesman, Nnamdi Azikiwe, it is a school for all as fees are not exorbitant.
